Why Webcast?
PRODUCT CONTENT CYCLE
CE21 makes it easy to have a fully realized product cycle that starts with a videographer capturing the content!
Start off with a live webcast that allows learners to earn live credit.
Duplicate the webcast in a video replay that you publish and market immediately after the webcast and starts three weeks after the webcast date. Easily schedule a video replay in a few clicks to play on a few dates and times that are convenient for learners on different schedules.
Create an On Demand or Download that allows learners to watch 24/7/365 as self-study.
Take the master video files created by CE21 and create a DVD and sell on the Catalog
LEARNERS WANT CHOICES
After the big Covid-19 outbreak in 2020/2021, learners who would have never watched a streaming program in their lifetime were forced to and guess what, they now prefer it. The great experiment paid off. Those who were non-techie were virtually forced into Zoom, streaming programs and after their initial apprehension, they actually prefer the convenience.
Some learners may always go to conferences as in-person attendee
Other learners may go to some conference in-person and others virtually (when provided). These decisions are made by obvious factors of Location, Convenience, Cost.
How much time is it gonna take me to attend in person? Travel time, flying, rush hour e.g.
How much is it it going to cost me to attend in person? Gas, Lodging, Flight, Parking, Food etc.
What am I gaining / missing from attending in person vs virtually?
BETTER EXPERIENCE THAN BEING IN PERSON
CE21 operates by the "Better than being there in person" motto. Much like at a sporting event the best seat in the house is watching it on TV, we abide by the same principles in working with the faculty, venue staff to make the streaming/recorded presentation better than being there in person.
CAMERA
Unless you're in the front/front row, the camera is going to have a better angle/zoom on the action than you are in the room.
Blocked Views: No
Moving your head incessantly to follow the speaker: No
AUDIO
Audio is better than being in the room as the webcast/recording will have direct audio feed from the microphones. This results in high quality audio that doesn't pick up any distracting room noises (hotel doing construction work in room next door)

Distracting noises in room: No

IMPROVE THE IN-ROOM EXPERIENCE
Our Videographers are fairly solid with audio and AV in general so we often work with venue staff/AV to improve not just the webcast/recording but the in-room presentation also.
This most noticeably is done when a program has lighter audio needs and
